Charles James Campbell Faill obtained a Licentiate from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1908 and was elected a Fellow in 1916. He worked as physician at Leith Hospital, extra clinical assistant at the Edinburgh Royal Victoria Hospital for Consumption, and tuberculosis officer for the City and County of Bristol.

William Douglas Denton Small graduated MB from the University of Edinburgh in 1911. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1913 and was elected a Fellow in 1916. Small worked as vaccination instructor for the Local Government Board, tutor in clinical medicine at the University of Edinburgh, and physician at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

Ashley Watson Mackintosh was born in 1868. He graduated MD from the University of Aberdeen in 1896, having previously won the Struthers Medal and Prize in Anatomy. He worked as Clinical Assistant at the National Hospital for Epilepsy and Paralysis before returning to Aberdeen in 1914 as Regius Professor of Medicine. Mackintosh became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1913 and was elected a Fellow in 1916. He authored the papers 'The Lateral Limiting Layer of the Spinal Cord' (1897), 'Distribution of Certain Sensory Spinal Roots' (1898), and 'Notes on Cerebral Localisation' (1905). He was knighted in 1937 and died the same year.

Arthur Loudoun Taylor graduated MB from the University of Edinburgh in 1909. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1912 and was elected a Fellow in 1917. Taylor worked as Senior Assistant Physician at Govan District Asylum, Assistant Medical Officer and Pathologist at Lanark District Asylum, and Assistant Medical Officer at Derby Mental Hospital. He authored the paper 'Case of Tumour of the Pituitary Body' (1913).

William Edmund Cooke was born in Aspull in 1881, the son of physician Luther Cooke. He graduated MD from the University of Liverpool in 1914 and later undertook epidemiological research in India and China. Cooke became Medical Superintendent of the Ochil Hills Sanatorium and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1917. He served with the Royal Army Medical Corps during the First World War and later organised a pathological service at the Royal Infirmary of Wigan, where he identified asbestos bodies, contributing to the recognition of asbestosis as an occupational disease. He died in 1939.

John Guy graduated MD from the University of Glasgow in 1900. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1914 and was elected a Fellow in 1917. Guy worked as Lecturer on Tuberculosis at the Medical School of the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh, Tuberculosis Officer for Gloucester, Medical Officer at Bridge of Weir Sanatorium, and within the Edinburgh municipal health department. He authored 'Use of Tuberculin in Phthisis' (1912) and 'Difficulties in the Administration and Control of Tuberculosis' (1917).

Sir Francis Richard Fraser was born in Edinburgh in 1885. He studied at Christ's College, Cambridge, and graduated MD from the University of Edinburgh in 1922. Fraser served as a military physician during the First World War and was appointed Professor of Medicine at St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1920. He later became Professor of Medicine at the British Postgraduate Medical School at Hammersmith and served as Director General of the Emergency Medical Service during the Second World War. He was appointed Director of the British Postgraduate Medical Federation in 1946 and died in London in 1964.

John Brown Lester graduated MD from the University of Edinburgh in 1913. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in the same year and was elected a Fellow in 1918. At the time of his admission to Fellowship he was resident at 80 Queen Victoria Street, Cape Town, South Africa.

Clarence Brain Dobell graduated MD from the University of Edinburgh in 1904. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in the same year and was elected a Fellow in 1918. Dobell worked as Senior Medical Officer at the Stobs Prisoners of War Camp and Assistant Surgeon at Tewkesbury Hospital. He authored the paper 'Case of Bronchiectasis Treated by Inhalation of Coal Tar Creosote Vapour' (1896).

Herbert De Carle Woodcock graduated MD from Durham University in 1912. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in the same year and was elected a Fellow in 1918. Woodcock worked as Honorary Physician at the Leeds Hospital for Tuberculosis and Sanatorium and Physician at the Leeds Municipal Dispensary. He authored the papers 'Treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis' (1906) and 'Danger of Artificial Pneumothorax' (1915), as well as the book 'The Doctor and the People' (1912). He died in 1950.
