QI & Audit Prize
These prizes are sponsored by RCPE's Senior Fellows Club who support postgraduate training and previously sponsored other opportunities for resident doctors.
Eligibility
Collegiate Members, Associate Members, Medical Students and Foundation Year Members of any of the UK Royal Colleges.
Application and Selection Process
Submissions should be quality improvement projects (QIP) in which the entrant has been involved in designing or carrying out the project. The project should be relevant to a general medical audience, projects pertaining to different medical specialties (for example paediatrics or surgery) will not be considered. The submission should be an abstract and should detail their involvement in the project, quality improvement methodology used, results, impact of the project on the original aim and the sustainability of the project. The total abstract word limit is 250 words.
The highest scoring QIP will be selected to give an oral presentation at the Medical Trainee Conference on Friday 26 February 2027 in Leeds. The presentation will be strictly 8 minutes long, with 2 minutes for questions. MS PowerPoint slides.
Other highest scoring submissions will be invited to present their QIP in moderated poster form. This involves both displaying your poster at the venue on the day of the event and giving a 90 second summary of your case to a judging committee. Those presenting a poster in this manner will be eligible for the poster prize
