Diploma Ceremony

Candidates passing MRCP(UK) are welcome to the college to celebrate this achievement with a diploma ceremony.
Diploma ceremonies are a highlight of the college calendar as it provides an opportunity to come together and celebrate with family and friends. We believe it is important to celebrate after all the hard work, commitment and dedication that goes into getting to this stage in your career.
You're welcome to celebrate your MRCP(UK) passing success at one of our ceremonies regardless of which college you sat your exam with, and you don't need to be a member of the Edinburgh College to attend but Edinburgh Collegiate members will get priority to attend our Ceremonies.
Diploma Ceremony Dates
Please register your interest in attending our 5 March 2027 or 28 May 2027 Diploma Ceremony. We anticipate demand to be high. By registering you will receive notification of bookings opening, however, this will not guarantee you a place.
Edinburgh Collegiate members will receive priority. If you wish to join the College please do so here.
Registration for 10 September 2027 and 10 December 2027 will not open until Spring 2027

Diploma Ceremony FAQ

Ceremonies are held in the College at 11 Queen Street, Edinburgh. Guided tours of our historic building will be available after the Ceremony.

Dress code: Lounge suits and ladies' equivalent or national dress

Family and young children are welcome to join the day. There will be colouring in and puzzles available for children and a photographer available for family portraits.

Gown hire and official photography are managed by an external provider. Once you've completed registration, we will email you the details on how to book your gown and how to order photography.

You may bring up to 4 guests including children to the Ceremony.

All our Ceremonies are live streamed so if your guests are not able to travel they will still be able to join you for your special day.
