Candidate statements for Council Member for Constituency A (Lothian, Fife and the Borders)

Fellows were recently invited to nominate a Fellow to serve as Council Member for Constituency A (Lothian, Fife and the Borders). Two candidates have been nominated for the position, and a vote is therefore required. All Fellows in good standing and based in the constituency are eligible to vote in this election.

Votes will be counted by Civica Election Services (CES). An email was sent to all eligible Fellows by CES on 13th October with instructions on how to vote. Fellows can vote online until 12pm (UK time) on 11th November 2026.

The result will be announced on 25th November, and the successful candidate will take up office on 4th December 2026.

The candidates for this election have provided the following information for voters. Each candidate’s statement was restricted to a maximum of 200 words.
