William Mackinnon received his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh on 1 August 1836 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 5 August 1845.

Thomas Head was born in 1799 and received his medical degree from the University of St Andrews on 6 May 1845. He served as surgeon to the Hanley district of the Staffordshire County Police and contributed to St Bartholomew's Hospital reports, including work on intestinal obstruction and constipation published in 1867. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1822 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 5 August 1845. He died in 1886.

William Scott received his medical degree from the University of St Andrews on 6 May 1845 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 5 August 1845. He later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1858 and a Licentiate in Midwifery of the King's and Queen's College of Physicians of Ireland in 1860.

Samuel Duncuft Lees received his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh on 1 August 1837. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1835, a Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries of London in 1836 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 November 1845. He married Mary Anne Harrop on 24 February 1840 at St Michael and All Angels Church, Ashton-under-Lyne.

Alexander Smith received his medical degree from the University of Aberdeen on 2 January 1826. He was admitted as a Licentiate of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1824 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 November 1845.

John Gregson Harrison received his medical degree from the University of Giessen on 6 June 1842. He served as surgical superintendent of the North Division of the London and North Western Railway Company for Sheffield and Lincolnshire, house surgeon to the Manchester Workhouse and medical inspector of factories. Harrison became a Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries of London in 1828, a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1829 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 November 1845.

Benjamin Robinson received his medical degree from the University of St Andrews on 7 May 1839. He served as surgeon to the Rotherham Dispensary and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1839 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 November 1845.

Charles Chadwick was born on 19 March 1815 at Chadwick Lodge, Leeds. He graduated MD from the University of Edinburgh on 1 August 1837 with a dissertation on the influence of the nervous system on secretion and nutrition. Chadwick served as senior physician to the Leeds House of Recovery, lectured at the Leeds School of Medicine and received an honorary Doctor of Civil Law from the University of Durham. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 20 November 1845 and died on 30 August 1886.

John Calthrop Williams received his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh on 2 August 1824. He served as physician to the Nottingham General Hospital and visiting physician to the Nottingham Lunatic Asylum. His publications include works on the stethoscope and cardiac palpitation. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 20 November 1845.

Robert Brent received his medical degree from the University of St Andrews on 1 July 1845. He served as house surgeon at the General Lying-in Hospital, Lambeth, assistant surgeon at the Royal Waterloo Hospital for Women and Children and district medical officer for St Thomas' Union in Exeter. Brent became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 August 1846.
