George Williamson qualified MB CM from the University of Aberdeen in 1886 and served as House Physician at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. He later became Visiting Physician to Woodend and City Hospitals and Medical Officer for Aberdeen. He lectured in medical ethics at the University of Aberdeen and authored 'The Law as it Affects Some Medical and Medical Ethical Problems' (1908). He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1922 and was elected a Fellow on 21 July 1925.

Sir Robert Charles MacWatt was born on 22 January 1865 at Duns, Berwickshire. He graduated MB ChB from the University of Edinburgh in 1886 and joined the Indian Medical Service in 1887. He served with distinction on the North-West Frontier and later became Inspector-General of Civil Hospitals in Punjab and Director General of the Indian Medical Service. He was knighted in 1925 and elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 13 May 1925. He died on 14 April 1945 aged 80.

Thomas MacMillan Anderson qualified MB ChB in 1912 and MD in 1914 from the University of Edinburgh. He served as a temporary Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps during the First World War and later completed a Diploma in Public Health. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1922 and was elected a Fellow on 3 November 1925. He held posts at the Crichton Royal Institution, the Royal Infirmary Glasgow, and Birmingham City Hospital.

John Johnstone Wilson was born in Dunkeld in 1867. He graduated MB CM from the University of Edinburgh in 1889 and completed the MD in 1894. He served as House Physician at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and later practised in Anstruther for the remainder of his career. He was active in the Fife Medical Association and the British Medical Association. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1922 and was elected a Fellow on 3 November 1925. He died on 6 October 1949 aged 82.

David Huskie was born in 1863 and qualified MB CM from the University of Edinburgh in 1888. He practised in Moffat for fifty years and served as Provost of the burgh from 1911-29. He was instrumental in the establishment of Moffat Cottage Hospital and served as Justice of the Peace for Dumfriesshire. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 2 February 1926. He died on 7 June 1944 aged 81.

William Edward Foggie was born in 1870 in Dundee. He qualified MB CM from the University of Edinburgh in 1893. His first appointment was as Resident Medical Officer at Dundee Royal Infirmary and in 1899 he was promoted to Assistant Physician. During the First World War he served with distinction and was awarded the Distinguished Service Order as Lieutenant-Colonel in 1918. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 2 February 1926 and gave fifty years' service to Dundee Royal Infirmary. He was also Physician to the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Sidlaw Sanatorium. He held lectureships, first in dermatology and later in clinical medicine, at the University of St Andrews, and was President of the Dundee Branch of the British Medical Association in 1933-34. He died on 13 January 1949 aged 79.

Harry Chapman Sinderson was born on 9 June 1891. He qualified MB ChB from the University of Edinburgh in 1914 and was awarded the MD in 1926. In 1918 he was appointed Deputy Director of Civil Medical Services in Iraq and served as personal physician to the Iraqi royal family from 1923 to 1946. In 1927 he was a founder and first Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad. By 1941 he had been promoted to Inspector-General of Health Services and Chair of Medicine to the Government of Iraq. He received multiple international honours, including the Order of the British Empire. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 May 1926 and served as the College's representative governor on the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. He died on 20 November 1974 aged 83.

James Davie Gilruth was born in Arbroath. He qualified MB CM from the University of Edinburgh in 1895. He practised initially in Morayshire and in 1897 moved to Arbroath, where he later held the post of Surgeon at Arbroath Infirmary. He continued in general practice in Arbroath for thirty-seven years until retirement. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1923 and was elected a Fellow on 4 May 1926. He was President of the Dundee Branch of the British Medical Association in 1934-35 and in 1936 was appointed Alexander Black Lecturer by the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He died on 25 May 1939.

Alfred Irving Shepheard-Walwyn was born in Windermere on 29 October 1881. He graduated MB ChB from the University of Edinburgh in 1905 and was awarded the MD in 1909. His early appointments included Clinical Assistant, House Physician, and House Surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and House Physician at Paddington Green Children's Hospital. He later settled in practice at Wetheral, Cumberland, moved to Carlisle, and became Physician to the Cumberland Infirmary. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 May 1926. He retired in 1946 and died at Aglionby, near Carlisle, on 6 April 1959 aged 77.

Edward David Wilson Greig was born on 20 March 1874. He qualified MB ChB from the University of Edinburgh in 1895. He entered the Indian Medical Service in 1899 and held senior posts in bacteriology, including Director of the Pasteur Institute and the Peterson Hospital, Physician in Charge of the Kala-azar Hospital, and Director of Medical Research for the Service. He also served as an Editor of the Indian Journal of Medical Research. After retiring from the Service in 1924 he was appointed Lecturer in Tropical Diseases at the University of Edinburgh and Consultant in Tropical Diseases to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, holding these posts until 1939. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 19 January 1926. He died in Edinburgh on 18 April 1950.
