RCPE Trustee Dr Frank Armstrong FRCPE appointed Senior Lay Member of the University of Edinburgh Court
The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (“the College”) is delighted to congratulate Dr Frank Armstrong FRCPE, one of the College’s Trustees, on his appointment as the Senior Lay Member of the University of Edinburgh Court.
Dr Armstrong brings to the role a distinguished record of leadership across the life sciences sector, as well as deep experience in governance, strategy, and innovation. His appointment reflects both his professional achievements and his longstanding commitment to advancing health, science, and education in Scotland and beyond.
Speaking on behalf of the College, Professor Mark Strachan FRCPE, President of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, said:
We warmly congratulate Dr Frank Armstrong on this significant appointment. Frank has been an invaluable Trustee of the College, offering insight, wisdom, and a strong commitment to our mission. The University of Edinburgh will benefit greatly from his experience and his dedication to public service.
Professor Strachan also highlighted the close ties between the College and the University:
