Quality Governance Collaborative

The Quality Governance Collaborative at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh brought together academic and healthcare partners to strengthen understanding and practice of quality governance across different settings. Through a programme of events, shared learning, and Fellowships, it supported multi-professional groups to engage with governance not as an abstract requirement, but as a core component of health systems. The Collaborative created space for open discussion, peer exchange, and the development of a community committed to continuous improvement.

Over the course of its work, the Collaborative contributed to raising awareness of quality governance principles and supported individuals and organisations to reflect on and enhance their own practices. As this workstream has now concluded, it leaves behind a foundation of national and international collaborations that aimed to improve the practice of quality governance.
