Showcase: Banned Books

Join us at the Physicians’ Gallery on the last Wednesday of every month at 12.30pm for a curator-led talk exploring one of the objects on display in our gallery.

Our topic for this talk is the banning and censoring of scientific books – especially during the 1500s Catholic Inquisition, showing the impact of censorship on the advancement of medicine and other sciences.

This 20 minute talk is free, but booking is essential. The meeting point is in the gallery.
