Diploma ceremonies are always one of the highlights in the college calendar. They are a chance to welcome you and your guests to the college. We understand the significance of coming together to celebrate with family and friends to receive your diploma after the hard work, commitment and dedication that you have put into getting to this stage in your career.
All Diplomates who attend the Ceremony will wear the Edinburgh Collegiate Gown, a link will be sent to you once you make your Ceremony booking.
The event will be livestreamed for any friends or family who are not able to attend. Livestreaming starts at 18:00. Please refer to your email for access information - do check which email you registered with, and your junk/spam folder if you can't find it.
To attend the Diploma Ceremony you must have returned your Form of Faith.
Applications for Ceremonies are on a first come first served basis with Edinburgh Collegiate Members getting priority.

New members assemble in the Theatre. Their seats will be reserved. Relations and friends may take their places to view the proceedings, in any of the unreserved seats. (Please be seated by 17.45). |

President's procession enters the Theatre preceded by the College Mace (ALL STAND) . Member of the Trainees & Members Committee addresses the new Members. The President addresses the new Members. The President presents diplomas to new Members. President's procession leaves the Theatre. (ALL STAND) |

The Ceremony and reception will be free of charge to each new Member. There is a charge of £35 per guest. Children are welcome and those under 12 are free.
Guest numbers are limited to 4 including children.
Cancellation policy: If you have to cancel your place within 14 days of this event, we regret that we are unable to provide a refund.
Please wait for confirmation before making travel and accommodation arrangements.

Please ensure you have returned your Form of Faith, if your Form of Faith has not been processed you will not be allowed to attend the Diploma Ceremony.
Gowns: All New Members will wear an Edinburgh Collegiate Gown. A link to book will be provided when your Ceremony booking is confirmed.
Photography: A link to book your professional photos will be provided after your Ceremony booking is confirmed.
Guests: There is a limit of 4 guests per New Member and this includes children.
Tickets: Please note that tickets are NOT transferable.
We do not provide a crèche during the ceremony. Children are welcome in the Theatre but for the benefit of other guests you may be asked to remove the child if they become unduly noisy.
There will also be the opportunity to speak to members of the Trainees and Members Committee and purchase College mementoes.

Please note that the College may occasionally take informal photographs before, during and after College events for use in future material used to promote the College, its facilities and activities (either in print or online). These images will not be used commercially or sold to third parties. With this disclaimer, the College is proceeding on the basis that attendance at this event implies your consent to the College taking and using such images. If you do not consent to the use of such images, please bring this to the attention of a member of staff at the time of the event (please note this does not apply to private photographs taken by the photographer of you and your family).
Access
A wheelchair lift is provided at the front of the College giving full access to the College. For further information and assistance please contact the RCPE Co-ordinator responsible for the event.
