The Recently appointed consultants (RAC) are those in their first 10 years as a consultant   and as a committee have two elected seats on Council, currently held by Drs Marion Slater (Geriatrician, Aberdeen) and Catherine Labinjoh (Cardiologist, NHS Forth Valley).

Recently Appointed Consultants' Committee

Marion and Catherine have established a Committee of Recently Appointed Consultants to involve more of you and to ensure your views are captured and shared in the College and beyond.

Starting in 2013, the group began with a survey about what RACs want from the College and about their experiences as a Consultant. We received feedback from 125 RACs.

One of the outcomes from the survey is we have also developed some Top tips for recently appointed consultants.
