I began my medical journey in Vietnam, where perseverance proved just as important as textbooks. After two unsuccessful attempts at the entrance exam, I finally earned a place in medical school. Upon graduating, I became both a clinician at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City and a clinical tutor at Vietnam National University, guiding medical students during their clinical rotations. My work has deepened my interest in internal medicine, infectious diseases, and medical education, particularly in improving clinical decision-making and assessment standards.

The MSc in Internal Medicine at the University of Edinburgh offers a unique opportunity to strengthen my clinical, teaching, and research skills. I plan to apply these skills to improve patient care, promote evidence-based medical education, and develop academic collaborations between my university and international partners. I am deeply honoured and grateful to receive the RCPE Scholarship. This invaluable support allows me to fully pursue my path in clinical practice, teaching, and research, ensuring that I can apply the knowledge gained from the programme to benefit patients and inspire the next generation of doctors in Vietnam.
