Registered delegates can access this event on catch-up for 28 days following the live session (until 9 April 2026).
This interactive half-day course explores ECG changes in common acute cardiac presentations, including chest pain, breathlessness, syncope and palpitations.
Led by an experienced Consultant Physician alongside two Consultant Cardiologists, the sessions reflect real-world clinical practice — demonstrating how physicians and cardiologists collaborate when faced with abnormal ECG findings on the general medical take.
Through case-based discussion and live interaction, delegates will strengthen their confidence in ECG interpretation, clinical reasoning and decision-making in acute settings.
Topics include:
• Chest pain and the ECG
• Syncope and arrhythmia
• Syncope without clear arrhythmia
• The breathless patient’s ECG
• Palpitations and the ECG
• Unusual ECG patterns
Suitable for both specialists and generalists, this course provides practical insight to support safe and effective patient management.
