Dr. MaryAnn Ferreux

I am a Medical Director at Health Innovation Kent, Surrey and Sussex and a Non-Executive Director at NHS Kent and Medway Partnership Trust. I am an experienced medical leader and executive motivated by a desire to lead transformational change across the health system to reduce health inequalities and ensure equity and inclusion for everyone.

Dr. Munzir Hamid

I am Dr. Munzir Hamid, a Medical Oncology Consultant at University Hospital Cork, Ireland. My passion for becoming a part of the EDI Group arises from my strong dedication to nurturing an inclusive work environment. I firmly believe that every person deserves equal opportunities for success, regardless of their background. In my capacity, I've had the privilege of contributing to the education of numerous international medical graduates in postgraduate oncology training, actively promoting diversity and inclusivity in our field.

Dr. Marion Slater

I am Deputy Postgraduate Dean for NHS Education for Scotland and a consultant physician in Aberdeen. I'm a founding member of RCPE's Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Group and its first chair. I strive to ensure equity of access to high quality education, training and  professional development to assure equity of access to high quality patient care. In particular, I support International Medical Graduates in both my professional roles and I'm currently involved in work around sexual harassment and misconduct in postgraduate training.

Dr Faye Robertson

I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. I previously sat on the Trainees and Members' Committee and was asked to consider joining the EDI group, which I saw as an opportunity to continue contributing to the work of the College. It is crucial that we accurately reflect our membership and are a force for change in embracing all the benefits of a diverse membership.

Dr Gail Kerr

Chief in Rheumatology at Washington DC VAMC, Howard University Educator, and Clinical Researcher. I want to be involved in the EDI group to contribute to objectives and aims of equity and access to care across gender, race and for all affiliates. I promote EDI in my workplace by assuring equity in fellow trainee selections, promoting rheumatology access for ethnic minority residents, clinical research addressing equity in rheumatic diseases.

Dr. Helen Dormand (She/Her)

I am a Deputy Medical Director and Consultant Cardiologist who has trained and worked in NHS Scotland and England. My current NHS role is in North Cumbria. I am also a member of the RCPE Quality Governance Collaborative Faculty and am undertaking a PhD exploring how we apply governance in healthcare, through an intersectional lens.

Dr. Adnan Sharif

I am a Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. I studied at the University of Edinburgh between 1997-2002 and trained in Edinburgh, Cardiff, Birmingham and Johns Hopkins Hospital in the USA before taking up my Consultant post in 2011. I have a strong interest in promoting EDI within organisations to ensure opportunities are equal and all individuals feel the same sense of belonging.
