The GMC ran a consultation on its proposed updated Good Medical Practice. Good Medical Practice is the GMC’s core guidance for doctors. It sets out the values and principles on which good practice is founded. The new version focused on four main areas: tackling discrimination; working in partnership with patients; working effectively with colleagues; and leadership and organisational culture. The College generally welcomes the suggested clarifications and improvements in this updated version of Good Medical Practice.
