    • Thomas Alexander Fraser, 12th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat was born on 17 June 1802. He became 1st Baron Lovat of Lovat in 1837 and suceeded as 12th Lord Lovat in 1857 after the reversal of the 1747 attainder against the 11th Lord. He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness-shire between 1853-1873 and was knighted in 1865. He died in 1875.
