    • Robert Maclachlan, 20th of Maclachlan was the son of Donald Maclachlan, 19th of Maclachlan and Susannah Campbell. He married Helen Carruthers in 1843 and died in 1872, without issue. He served as Deputy Lieutenant and held the office of Justice of the Peace. Although two Heritors by the name of M. Lachlan are listed in one survey, they appear to be different individuals.

    • Colin Lyon-Mackenzie (also known as McKenzie) was born in Inverness in May 1811 and inherited considerable assets including the estate of St Martins. He became a Major in the Inverness Volunteers, a Town Councillor and provost between 1855-67 and 1873-75. He held a number of other offices including Deputy-Lieutenant of Inverness and Cromarty. He died on 7 July 1881.
