RCPE online medical careers resource
The RCPE Trainees and Members’ Committee has published a series of personal
perspectives from doctors who have gone through training in the medical
specialties. This resource is updated frequently as we aim to cover all medical
specialties and subspecialties.
Preparing for MRCP(UK)?
You’ll find the EMUs useful – either attend the evening sessions or search the
education portal for topics of interest. You’ll also find the specialty modules and
MCQs throughout the education portal helpful.
We’re developing some online materials to support preparation for PACES. In the
meantime, for those able to travel to Edinburgh, we run a two-day preparation
course in partnership with NHS Lothian Clinical Skills & Assessment Centre on
which our Fellows teach. Visit our website for dates and further information.
Free to attend, our PACES preparation evenings run on 20 Oct, 3 Nov and 1 Dec in
2015, and are likely to be repeated in 2016 – see website for details.
We alsowork with the other Royal Colleges of Physicians in the UK, either through
MRCP(UK) central office, or in collaboration with an individual college, to deliver
PACES preparation courses in several countries.
