Continuing professional development (CPD) for physicians comes inmany forms.
At the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE), we provide a flexible
distance learning environment with interactive modules, challenging cases and
archived lectures on our education portal.
Whatever stage you are at in your career, we can help you to increase yourmedical
specialty knowledge, keep up to date and gain distance learning CPD points by
completing our interactive specialty modules. Approximately 10 modules are
available at any time. And try our challenging cases!
Missed a live event or want to watch again? Over 300 lectures fromour Symposia,
Evening Medical Updates and professional update events are available to
watch when it suits you. Related content from the

with self-assessment and completion certificates for use for personal CPD.
All lectures are accessible onmobile and tablet devices, including iPhone and iPad.
RCPEOnline Education is free for all our Fellows andMembers. Joining the College
is free for medical students and doctors in their first two years of work post-
medical school. Fellows and members of other Colleges can join as Associates
for just £60 for the first year, rising to £129.
