No.11 Queen Street, Edinburgh, EH2 1JQ
Free entry
Join us at the Physicians’ Gallery on the last Wednesday of every month at 12.30pm for a curator-led talk exploring some of the objects on display in our gallery.
Our topic for this talk is the history of plague, specifically the Black Death. We’ll be stepping back to the 1300s to talk about ‘bad air’, bizarre folk remedies, beaked plague doctors and the diseases’ impact on public health today.
This 20 minute talk is free, but booking is required. The meeting point is in the Gallery.
