William John Henry Lush

William Lush was born circa 1851 in Damerham, Wiltshire, and trained initially at King's College London, registering in 1872 and gaining his MD from the University of Brussels in 1879. A general practitioner, he was based primarily in Andover, Hampshire, initially practising in partnership with Thelwall Pike as Pike and Lush until its dissolution in 1876. He was also a Fellow of the Linnean Society and the Obstetrical Society, and published several works, including 'Examination Papers for the Use of Medical Students' (1877). He died in Eastbourne in 1894.
