William Hall Ryott

William Hall-Ryott was born in Newcastle, Northumberland, in 1817. He received his medical degree from the University of Erlangen on 10 January 1842. Hall-Ryott married Anne Richardson and had sixteen children. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 2 May 1843 and later a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1853. He died in Thirsk, Yorkshire, on 8 November 1880.
