William Glover

William Glover received his MD from the University of St Andrews on 17 August 1818 and became a Licentiate of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh the same year. On 6 August 1833 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. Glover held posts including house surgeon to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, house surgeon to the London Lock Hospital and private physician to Lord Heytesbury while the latter served as envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary to Spain.
