William Blackley Drummond

William Blackley Drummond received his medical education at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 1891 and later proceeding to MD in 1918. He had a particular interest in the diseases and mental development of children and held appointments at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. He later entered private practice and was appointed Superintendent of the Baldovan Institute in Dundee, where he pursued research into child psychology. In 1920 he published 'An Introduction to Child-Study'. William Blackley Drummond died in Dunfermline in 1937.
