Thomas Richardson Colledge

Thomas Richardson Colledge received his MD from King's College, Aberdeen, in 1839. He worked as a surgeon and missionary in China, founded the first infirmary for poor Chinese known as Colledge's Ophthalmic Hospital, and established the Medical Missionary Society in China in 1837. Colledge died in Cheltenham in 1879.
