Thomas Beath Christie

Thomas Beath Christie trained at the London Hospital and received his MD from St Andrews in 1854. He worked at Pembroke House, Hackney, before becoming Medical Superintendent of the North Riding Asylum, Clifton, near York, and later Chief Medical Officer and Superintendent of the Royal India Asylum, Ealing. In 1873 he became Surgeon-Major of the 5th Battalion, Rifle Brigade, and in 1877 was appointed CIE. He died in Ealing on 15 January 1892.
