Samuel Hobart

Samuel Hobart received his MD from Erlangen in 1835. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1827, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1836 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 1844. He registered a private practice in Cork in 1858 and served as Surgeon to the House of Industry and Lunatic Asylum in Cork.
