Samuel Ferguson

Samuel Ferguson studied at the University of Edinburgh and obtained his MD in 1805. He served with the Army Medical Service as an assistant surgeon from 1802 to 1804 and later served as surgeon to the Antrim Militia. He obtained a second MD from the University of St Andrews on 6 November 1813. He was admitted a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 2 December 1813 and was elected a Fellow on 3 May 1814.
