Ronald Grey Gordon

Ronald Grey Gordon was born on 3 March 1889 in Monteith, Perthshire. He qualified MB ChB from the University of Edinburgh in 1911. His early appointments included the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Paddington Green Children's Hospital. In 1913 he settled in practice in Bath and proceeded to the MD in the same year. He was Physician to the Royal Mineral Water Hospital from 1920 to 1930 and later to the Bath Royal United Hospital and the Bath and Wessex Orthopaedic Hospital, and also held visiting consultant posts locally. He served for twenty-two years on the Journal Committee of the British Medical Association and represented the Bath Division from 1922. His publication includes 'Hydrology and Chronic Rheumatic Diseases' (1927). He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 2 November 1926 and died on 26 April 1950 aged 61.
