Robert Paterson

Robert Paterson received his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh on 1 August 1836. He served as physician to the Leith Dispensary and was President of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh from 1871 to 1873. His publications include studies on epidemic fever and corpora lutea. Paterson became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 4 February 1845.
