Robert Kennedy

Robert Kennedy was born in 1774. He studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh, enrolling in 1786 and graduating in 1794. His dissertation examined asthma. In 1799 he applied for admission and was admitted in 1800 as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He ran a medical practice in Edinburgh from 1799 until his death in 1803. Kennedy had a keen interest in chemistry and geology.
