Keith Imray

Keith Imray studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh from 1823 to 1824 and became a Licentiate of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1826. He received his MD from Pisa on 28 June 1836 and later practised medicine in Dominica. Imray became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1840. In 1842 he published 'The Cyclopaedia of Popular Medicine: Intended for Domestic Use', later revised for an American audience as 'A Popular Cyclopaedia of Modern Domestic Medicine' in 1849.
