John Wilson Anderson

John Wilson Anderson studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh during 1819 to 1820 and graduated MD in 1820. He resumed his studies in 1823 and completed further years from 1825 to 1826. In 1823 Anderson acted as lecture assistant to Dr Thomas Hope and led some of the earliest practical chemistry classes at the University of Edinburgh.
