John Ward Dowsley

John Ward Dowsley obtained his MD from the University of St Andrews in 1826 and also held a diploma from the College of Surgeons, London. At his admission to Fellowship in 1838 he was Physician to the Hospital at Clonmel. By 1858 he had a registered practice in Tipperary and was a member of the Kilkenny and South East of Ireland Archaeological Society. He died in 1872.
