James Marr

James Marr received his MD from the University of St Andrews on 6 December 1837 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 6 February 1838. He specialised in midwifery and obstetrics and worked as lecturer, physician to the lying-in hospital and midwifery dispensary, and physician accoucheur to the Royal Dispensary. Marr published papers including 'On the Nature, Mechanism, and Treatment of Face Presentations' in 1842.
