James Lynch O'Connor graduated MD from Aberdeen on 24 November 1820. He published papers including 'Medical Observations upon a form of dysentery known in the island of Trinidad by the name of bische or biecho' in 1837. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1838.
