James Crocket

Date of Fellowship admission: 17 July 1923
James Crocket studied at the University of Edinburgh, graduating MB ChB in 1909, MD in 1913, and DPH in 1915. He was registered at Craigielea, Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire. He lectured on clinical and practical tuberculosis at the University of Glasgow and served as Visiting Physician at the Consumption Sanatoria of Scotland, Bridge of Weir, and worked at the Rankine Memorial Hospital, China. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1923. His publications include 'The Problem of Tuberculosis in Children', Glasgow Medical Journal (1925), and 'Local Application of Tuberculin', British Medical Journal (1922).
