James Campbell

Date of honorary Fellowship admission: 2 May 1727
James Campbell obtained his MD from the University of St Andrews in 1712. He became physician to the Garrison at Port Mahon in 1718 and was made physician-in-ordinary to King George II in Scotland. In 1718, he was made a fellow of the Royal Society and in 1724 he was made an honorary fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He died on 21 January 1733.
