Hibbert Sullivan Parker was educated at King's College London and served as Obstetrical House Physician at the associated hospital. In 1880 he joined the Army Medical Service and became a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He was elected a Fellow of the College in 1883 while stationed at Ferozepore, Punjab. He served in the Punjab as Staff Surgeon and Surgeon to the Ordnance and died from fever in 1886 at the age of twenty-eight.
