Henry Francis Elliot

Henry Francis Elliot studied at the University of Edinburgh and the Devon and Exeter Hospital and held posts as Resident Physician at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and House Surgeon at the Chichester Infirmary. He became a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1875, a Member in 1879, and was elected a Fellow in 1892. He was initially based at Cliffe House, Ruyton XI Towns, and later practised in Snaresbrook, east London, where he served as Surgeon to the Wanstead Infant Orphan Asylum. He was a Fellow of the British Gynaecological Society and a member of the British Medical Association and the Medical Officers of Schools Association.
