George Sandison Brock

George Sandison Brock was born in Dunnet, Caithness, in 1858. He graduated MD with a Gold Medal from the University of Edinburgh in 1892. He served as Medical Officer at the British Embassy in Rome and during the First World War was Principal Medical Officer at the Villa Trento Field Hospital in Italy. He was appointed MBE in 1919 and elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1920. He died in 1948.
