George Hepburn

George Hepburn received his medical degree from the University of Leiden in 1648. He was admitted as a Fellow of the College on 15 November 1694. The publication of the leaflet 'Apollo Mathematicus' by Edward Eizat prompted rapid retaliation from Hepburn, who was a supporter of Pitcairne. His response took the form of a pamphlet entitled 'Tarrugo Unmasked', published in 1695.
