George Fowler

George Fowler trained at Guy's Hospital, London, becoming a Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries and a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1864. Based primarily in Camberwell, south-east London, where he initially practised alongside his father, George Fowler MRCS LSA, he specialised in rheumatic medicine. He worked at several hospitals in London, including the North London Hospital for Consumption and Diseases of the Chest and the Infirmary for Consumption and Diseases of the Chest and Throat. He died in 1892.
