Frederick William Dyce Fraser

Frederick William Dyce Fraser was the second son of Alexander Campbell Fraser, Professor of Logic and Metaphysics at the University of Edinburgh. Educated in Edinburgh and Prague, he earned his MA in 1874, MB CM in 1878, and MD in 1883, receiving special commendation for his thesis. He served as Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at the Imperial University of Osaka before returning to Britain, where he worked in hospitals in the south of England, including as Surgeon at the Teddington and Hampton Wick Cottage Hospital and Clinical Assistant in the Skin Department at Charing Cross Hospital. He died suddenly in 1910.
