Edward Eizat

Date of Fellowship admission: 14 September 1695
Edward Eizat was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 14 September 1695. Eizat served on the committee appointed to revise the 'Edinburgh Pharmacopoeia' in March 1697, and the revised edition was ordered to be printed on 24 March 1699. He was appointed the King's Second Physician in Scotland on 31 March 1704 and resigned in August 1717. His publications include 'Apollo Mathematicus' (1695) and 'Melius Inquirendum' (1699).
