Ebenezer Gairdner

Ebenezer Gairdner studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh from 1815 to 1818. He qualified as an MD in 1819 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1820. He worked for a period as physician to the Royal Dispensary and published several journal papers, including 'Case of Purpura Haemorrhagica' in 1823.
