David James Graham

David James Graham was born in Edinburgh in 1871. He was educated at George Watson's College and graduated MB from the University of Edinburgh in 1895. He served as a resident at the Royal Maternity Hospital and held posts at the City Hospital for Infectious Diseases and Simpson's Maternity Hospital before graduating MD in 1899. He was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1898 and elected a Fellow in 1901. During the First World War he served in France with the Royal Army Medical Corps (Territorial Force), attaining the rank of Major. David James Graham died in a sanatorium in Aberdeenshire in 1925.
