David Foulis

David Foulis was born in Edinburghshire in 1710. He studied medicine in Edinburgh, Leiden, and Rheims, receiving his MD at Rheims in 1735. Foulis served as Physician to George Heriot's Hospital in Edinburgh from 1741 until his death in 1773.
