Cecil Hubert Gostwyck graduated MB from the University of Edinburgh in 1899 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1914. He held posts including Senior Assistant Medical Officer at Skirling District Asylum, Assistant Medical Officer at Kent County Asylum, Chartham, and West Riding Asylum, Scalebor Park, and Honorary Surgeon at the Royal Portsmouth Hospital. His publication includes 'Juvenile General Paralysis' (1915).
