Arthur Murray Wood graduated MD from the University of Edinburgh in 1904 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1915. He worked in Edinburgh as Resident Physician at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Resident Surgeon and Resident Physician on the University Wards of the Royal Infirmary, and Resident Medical Officer at Corstorphine Convalescent Home. He was a member of the Royal Medical Society of Edinburgh.
